New Products Debut At 2006 Musikmesse In Frankfurt

mf_key.jpgIn March, EAW debuted for the first time a host of new products to the European marketplace at the 2006 Musikmesse/Pro Light and Sound Convention. The list is topped by DSAi, and also includes the UMX.96 Digital Live Console and EAW Commercial SMS Series loudspeakers.

Also unveiled were two new additions to the EAW Commercial CAM Series of power amplifiers and SmaartLive Version 6.

Broderick Joins EAW As Technical Training Manager

bernie_broderick.jpgLOUD Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of Bernie Broderick to the position of Technical Training Manager for the EAW brand.

In this new position, Broderick will head internal as well as in-field training and education initiatives for all high-end sound reinforcement products in the LOUD family with a focus on the EAW brand. Bernie will report directly to LOUD Vice President of Marketing and Product Development Ken Berger.

"Bernie's significant experience and knowledge will be extremely beneficial as we continue to bring more advanced technologies to the professional audio market," commented Berger. "He has a proven ability to strategize and communicate cutting-edge concepts effectively and we couldn't be more excited that he's agreed to join our team."

Broderick brings nearly 25 years of professional audio experience to EAW, working most recently as head of technical support for L-ACOUSTICS, where he was responsible for all training in the North American marketplace for V-DOSC, dV-DOSC, KUDO and SOUNDVISION. Prior to joining L-ACOUSTICS, Bernie was with Adamson Systems Engineering out of Toronto, Canada.

"I have always been very interested in all aspects of the music industry and more specifically, loudspeakers and loudspeaker design," commented Broderick, My experience has given me a unique perspective on how people feel about a company and it's products.
