Sound Systems Plus, a Halifax, Nova Scotia-based A/V solution company, recently provided sound reinforcement for the QEII Excellence in Research Dinner, deploying its EAW KF730 line arrays as well as NT Series self-powered loudspeakers featuring Gunness Focusing.

The annual fundraiser, recognizing outstanding achievement in health research, was held at the newest event venue in Halifax, the Cunard Centre, and featured live entertainment for a crowd of more than 1,000. Dave Corkum, president of Sound Systems Plus, also served as the sound designer for the show, utilizing KF730 arrays and NT Series loudspeakers to supply all coverage.
