Concert Sound/EAW Delivering Sound For 40,000 Scouts
Leading UK-based hire company Concert Sound will be providing concert sound systems for all stages - many of them headlined by EAW KF760 Series line arrays in addition to the new UX8800 digital processor - for the upcoming World Scout Jamboree to be held in Essex, UK, over the course of more than a week.
More than 40,000 scouts and event volunteers from in excess of 250 countries (more than the Olympic Games!) will be in attendance at the jamboree, with opening ceremonies in late July featuring an appearance by Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth. A diverse assortment of programming will be presented throughout the run of the event on several stages.
The jamboree main stage will be outfitted with three hangs of EAW KF760 (the arena is very asymetrical), joined by SB1000z subwoofers. These will be enhanced by center-, in- and out-fills of KF750 Series full-range loudspeakers, with KF750/755 also extending coverage on delay. New UX8800 processors will also be deployed with this system. The two primary smaller stages will feature KF761/SB1000 and KF730/SB730/SB1000 combinations. (We'll be presenting more info and photos from the jamboree soon.)
