Performance Recording and Sound, founded by Marty Bilecki and based in the Chicago area, just finished up a very successful summer season in providing sound and support at a wide range of live concerts, festivals and events.

A member of EAW ELAN, Performance Sound has earned a reputation for quality equipment and personal service, serving local and national clients since 1991. The company’s A-Line live system is headed by up to 20 EAW KF730 Series small line array modules, and a bit earlier this year, the system was enhanced with the addition of new EAW UX8800 digital processing with Gunness Focusing. “All of the traveling engineers were impressed with the UX8800 processor and the 730 system,” notes Marty.

One highlight was providing sound for the Addision (Illinois) Community Days festival, which featured live performances by Eddie Money, .38 Special and Mickey Thomas of Starship.
