EAW Co-founder Named Innovator of the Year
Pro audio legend and EAW co-founder Kenton Forsythe received the Parnelli Innovator of the Year Award at the annual event held this year in Orlando, FL. This is only the 8th time the award has been given and the 2nd time it was given to a loudspeaker manufacturer. The award presentation included an introduction by Dave Robb, another legendary character from the early days of pro audio, as well a tribute video produced by FOH Magazine’s Kevin Mitchell.
In his acceptance speech, Forsythe was visibly emotional, welling up with tears when he mentioned his family, which includes his wife, two sons and a daughter.
The night before the awards dinner, EAW held a small, private dinner at Emeril’s Tchoup Chop for Kenton, his family and guests.
