September 12, 2003 – Woodinville, Wash –
Mackie Designs Inc. (OTCBB: MKIE) announced today a change the company's
corporate designation from Mackie Designs Inc. to Loud Technologies
Inc. This change is intended to eliminate confusion between "Mackie"
the company, and "Mackie" the brand. The change will also
clarify positioning for each of the individual brands under the new
Loud Technologies Inc. umbrella.

March 7, 2003 – Whitinsville, MA –
Seattle–based Carlson Audio Systems, who has been providing
audio systems for high–profile tours and events throughout the
Pacific Northwest since 1991, recently announced a deal with Seattle
rock legends Pearl Jam, to supply the house sound system for the U.S.
leg of their 2003 world tour. In preparation for the tour, Carlson
purchased a new EAW KF760 Line Array system consisting of 24 KF760
long/medium throw boxes, 24 KF761 near fill boxes and 24 EAW SB1000
cabinets.
