September 11, 2005 – London, UK - As part of the annual "Stage Electrics Contribution to Sound" award presented at the National Student Drama Festival, EAW recently offered a special backstage pass to one of guitar legend Mark Knopfler's sold-out performances at the Royal Albert Hall. The award was one of three sponsored by theatre specialists Stage Electrics at the 2005 NSDF held in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

September 11, 2005 – London, UK - The biggest fireworks display in Europe was held on the first Saturday in August, as it is every year, at the Fete du Lac in Annecy. Set against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps, it is a truly spectacular event that attracts tens of thousand of visitors every year. Over 57,000 places were sold in advance with a further 200,000 spectators lining the shores of the lake wherever they could find a suitable vantage point.

September 11, 2005 – London, UK - EuroJam was the biggest Scouting and Guiding event held in Europe for ten years. Held on the V festival site at Hylands Park near Chelmsford in Essex, EuroJam welcomed over 12,000 people on site every day for twelve action-packed days from 29th July to 10th August. Participants came from 67 countries including 40 European nations, but also from as far away as Mexico and Australia. PA rental specialists, Concert Sound furnished a significant EAW KF760 line array system for the main stage and a number of smaller systems for the other stages plus three engineers for the duration of the event.
