The CP499 ceiling loudspeaker utilizes 4 x 6.5-inch low/mid frequency cone drivers arrayed around a medium format 90-degree by 90-degree degree HF horn. This configuration centers the LF and HF axes to provide point source performance, providing significantly improved HF pattern control to much lower frequencies than typical co-axial designs. The low/mid drivers are arrayed to extend useful pattern control to below 400 Hz, and their smaller cone size provides very good reproduction of critical midrange frequencies without sacrificing output capabilities.
