The JFz Series HF horns represented the best solution to the needs of the JFX Series systems because they had benefited from new technology and new resources available to EAW engineers.

Using high-resolution measurements, the sonic event is modeled as an electronic equivalent, and therefore, a mathematical equation. Based on the desired parameters, the optimizer adjusts the horn's shape and accurately predicts performance changes.

Then, using rapid prototyping resources for horns allowed for a succession of revisions and listening evaluations every few days. Previously, each cycle would have taken weeks.
