The KF Series of three-way designs built around Kenton Forsythe's
unique birch laminate and structural foam midbass horn are EAW's
most popular and well known products. Since the KF Series has
grown in recent years to comprise five distinct product ranges,
we've given each range its own page.

Line Array Systems
(KF760 and KF730)
Engineered to solve the problems of real-world applications,
both KF760 and KF730 Series line array systems maximize the
benefits of line array use while simultaneously improving upon
the shortcomings of other manufacturer's line arrays. By utilizing
and expanding upon some of the best EAW technologies, these
comprehensive systems are easier to design with, provide better
sonic performance, support smoother cluster-to-cluster arrayability,
fly faster and pack more efficiently than other line array systems.
KF300/KF600 Compact Series
The KF300/KF650 Compact Series applies Virtual ArrayT design
concepts to compact enclosures for portable use or permanent
installation. The Series includes the KF300z, KF650z and KF695z
specifically designed to array with each
in permanent installations.
KF750/VA4 Technology Series
The KF700 Series takes Virtual Array Technology into the fourth
dimension: Time.
The Acoustic SingularityT design creates a unified space/time
origin for the entire broadband audio signal, greatly enhancing
the clarity and impact of any sonic event.
The next generation mid frequency cone/phase plug assembly eliminates
the temporal smearing that has plagued all previous array module
designs -- even our own KF850, the most accepted touring array
loudspeaker on the planet.
And at 31-in high and only 90 pounds per enclosure, the KF700
Series creates smaller lighter arrays that open sight lines
and reduce truckpack requirements.
KF850 Stadium Array Series
In the nearly two decades since its debut in 1986, the world
renown KF850 has set the standard by which touring loudspeakers
are gauged. For the past ten years the "E" version
of the KF850 has been selling in the hundreds and thousands
annually. Knowing customers still employ this workhorse every
day, EAW engineers have created the KF850z. The KF850z is a
significant update, featuring the latest proprietary technology
and contemporary components.
New products include the flying KF850zF, the ground-stack-only
KF850zR, their companion subwoofer, the SB850zR, and a host
of accessories. The performance upgrades in the KF850z family
of products is so significant, they are slated to completely
replace all "E" versions by mid-2004.
KF900/Phased PointSource
TechnologyT Series
PPST represents a breakthrough in large-format loudspeaker arrays.
Designed specifically to act as a single acoustical entity,
a PPST/KF900 array comprises several frequency-specific modules
optimized to take advantage ot the PPST process. Complex digital
signal processing integrates the output of the many drivers
in the array, providing intelligible, musical, powerful sound
reinforcement up to and beyond 600 feet.
