EAW continues to develop and refine line array systems, providing an ever-expanding toolbox of solutions that more precisely meet specific needs of the most demanding portable and installed applications – large, small and everything in between.
NTL720: Small Applications
Nicknamed “BLAM” (Baby Line Array Module), very compact NTL720 modules are sized at 9.4-in (h) x 24-in (w) x 14.3-in (d), and weight is less than 50 pounds. Yet it packs a true 3-way design, with a transducer package of 2 x 6-in (LF), 2 x 6-in (MLF), and 6 x 1-in tweeters (HF), and horizontal dispersion of 110° (by 12° vertical). Each subsection is driven by its own 500-watt Class-D (digital) amplification package with matching onboard DSP.
The DSP is topped by revolutionary EAW Focusing™ alignment and driver processing algorithms that deliver sonic quality of premium studio monitors. The NTL720 also features innovative FastLatch™ rigging for fast array assembly of arrays without back-breaking labor, and it allows replacement of any component in flown/stacked array structures.

KF730 Series: Medium & Small Applications
Also going by the moniker “SLAM” (Small Line Array Module), the compact KF730 Series includes the KF730 full-range module as well as the SB730 subwoofer that fits seamlessly within KF730 arrays. Module size of the KF730 is 13-in (h) x 28.5-in (w) x 17.6-in (d), and weight is about 75 pounds. The 3-way design incorporates 2 x 10-in (LF), 2 x 7-in (MLF), 2 x 1-in compression drivers (HF), with horizontal dispersion of 110° (by 12° vertical).
A bi-amplified power configuration (passive mid/high) reduces system cost and complexity. Processing for the arrays is intentionally simple and can be greatly enhanced with the EAW UX8800 dual-mode digital processor, which supplies EAW Focusing alignment and driver processing algorithms. Versatile rigging fosters fast construction of arrays ranging from 4 to 18 enclosures. The companion SB730 sub is 2 x 12-in loaded and extends response down to 35 Hz.

KF740
The KF740 premium, high output, 3-way line array system is optimized for the widest possible range of touring and installation applications. The symmetrical design, large horn and spaced woofers provide exceptional pattern control while EAW Focusing and EAW Resolution software further enhance system performance. High-output, yet extremely lightweight and compact, a KF740 module can integrate seamlessly into an existing KF760 or KF730 system or combine for a complete KF740 array perfect for applications of nearly any size. Dual 62mm voice coil HF compression drivers and dual 8-in Concentric Summation Array (CSA) loaded transducers are integrated through a common horn that occupies the entire face of the enclosure. The astounding pattern control offered by this configuration is extended even further (down to 160 Hz) as the MF devices are transitioned to a spaced array of four 2.5-in voice coil 10-in woofers. The pair of LF devices integrated within the MF/HF horn combined with the pair of side-mounted devices provides as much as 18 dB of off-axis rejection.

KF760 Series: Large & Medium Applications
The KF760 Series is one of the pro audio world’s most widely-used concert and large-venue line arrays. Both KF760 full-range and KF761 wide-dispersion modules maintain a 14.5-in (h) x 45-in (w) x 31-in (d) footprint, with transducers including 2 x 12-in (LF), 2 x 8-in (MLF) and 1 x 2-in compression driver (HF). Horizontal dispersion of the KF760 is 80° (x 3° vertical), while the KF761 expands coverage to 100° (x 12° vertical).
The user has a choice of tri- or quad-amplification, and applying the EAW UX8800 dual-mode digital processor, offering EAW Focusing alignment and driver processing algorithms, further enhances the performance of KF760 Series arrays. The easy-to-use rigging system is set by simple variation of the rear splay of each module. The BH760, nicknamed the “SuperSub”, features a bent-horn design that delivers extremely high levels of tight, punchy bass.

UX8800: Digital Processing & EAWPilot Control
The new UX8800 dual-mode digital processor (8-input x 4 output) functions as an excellent overall system manager, processor and controller, while its EAW Focusing alignment and driver processing algorithms dramatically enhance KF760 Series and KF730 Series line arrays. As a result, new systems provide unmatched sonic performance out of the gate, while existing systems can be easily outfitted with this same superior performance without expending valuable funds on new line array inventory.
EAWPilot control software provides comprehensive DSP control of the UX8800, while its renowned Wizard modeling software helps in automatically configuring array DSP for optimal performance fitting specific audience areas, greatly simplifying system setup and alignment.
