EAW Engineering
The EAW engineering team has been steered for over two decades by co-founder and Executive Vice President of Strategic Product Development, Kenton Forsythe. Over the years, Forsythe has built an engineering department globally renowned for having the best talent pool and engineering resources in the industry. This engineering team continually leads the professional audio industry in innovative technology development and unique, application-specific loudspeaker design.
EAW Design Philosophy
EAW engineering's goal for every loudspeaker system is to provide flat power response and minimal distortion as applied to a given application. As a result, the entire EAW product range sounds remarkably similar, from the ultra-compact UB12Se to the massive KF900 Series. Since integrated active electronic signal processing is included into the total system, our processors do not employ dynamic effects to ensure sound quality remains consistent at all output levels. All EAW processors are created as crossovers precisely aligned (Close Coupled™) to the systems they are designed to control.
Total System Engineering
To achieve the right balance of performance factors for each particular application, every aspect of the loudspeaker system - transducers, enclosures, horns, crossover design and manufacturing, exterior finishes, electronic signal processing - is optimized as and integrated into a functional whole known as total system engineering. With an engineering ethic that emphasizes total system performance rather than any one component or technology, EAW has redefined the standard of excellence as it applies to professional loudspeaker systems. In pursuing an overall performance through total system engineering, EAW introduced many significant technological contributions and innovative design approaches to the professional audio industry.
