EAW Reinforces Joe Diffie And Rodney Atkins At Peck Fest 2015

The Kanawha Campground in Point Pleasant, West Virginia kicked off Peck Fest, a new country music festival that headlined Joe Diffie and Rodney Atkins. Feeding Hills, Massachusetts-based SCL Sound Systems, LLC. provided an EAW sound reinforcement system for the two day event.

“We have been an EAW house since the start of our company in 2003,” explain Scott LaRochelle, owner of SCL Sound. “We started with the KF850Zs and added the KF730s and then the KF740s when they were introduced. They sound great right out of the box.”

The main PA consisted of left-right hangs KF740 boxes – eight enclosures each. Eight SB1000Zs subwoofers were located under the lip of the stage for additional low end. LaRochelle used two KF730 for front fill and provided the acts with twelve MW12 wedges for stage monitoring.

“The newest addition to our inventory is the MW12 stage monitors – I have never received so many compliments on how good the wedges sound,” LaRochelle adds. “Five bands performed each day in addition to the headliners. Everyone was impressed with the sound quality – it was a terrific event.”
