High-Profile Events and Installations Keep EAW’s American Factory at Full Capacity

With an incredible 2013 and anticipating another banner year in 2014, many of EAW’s recent high-profile sound system installations and continuous orders have kept the company’s growing Whitinsville, Massachusetts based factory running at full capacity.

Parsons Technologies has ordered a complete EAW system including QX, MK and CIS Series products along with other custom products to support the installation at the Bank of America Stadium. The stadium is home to the Carolina Panthers and was named among the Top 100 Stadium Experiences by Stadium Journey Magazine. The extensive system was designed and specified by Dallas based A/V consulting firm WJHW.

El Paso Ballpark, home of the Chihuahuas minor league baseball team will also be living the EAW experience later this year. Clair Brothers Audio Systems has recently closed on an MK Series sound system for the 9,500-capacity park which is currently under construction.

North of the border, Canadian EAW distributor SF Marketing sold an EAW QX500, QX300 and MK Series system for Landsdowne Park, the primary sports facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Lansdowne Park is undergoing extensive redevelopment and will re-open in 2015 as a 40-acre mixed-use urban village.

The extraordinarily flexible KF740 line array system scored big wins as well. AE Global Media, which has completed more than 2,500 A/V installations for houses of worship worldwide, chose the KF740 for a recent installation at a very large church in Oklahoma. The KF740 was also selected for the Denizli Cultural Centre in Turkey.

But that was only the beginning of EAW’s international reach at the close of 2013. The company shipped major Anya systems from the Whitinsville factory to locations in Australia, Canada, China, Indonesia, Korea and Turkey.

“EAW is achieving new heights,” said EAW President Jeff Rocha. “Our factory has been continuously running at full capacity. We ran multiple shifts and even brought in extra hands to help with the significant workload in the fourth quarter. This all provided vital Holiday season employment for central Massachusetts. We are extremely proud to support our local economy and to represent American manufacturing with products that connect artists and audiences worldwide.”
